Caetano Henríquez, Enrique

ENRIQUE CAETANO HENRÍQUEZ (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, 1972). PhD in Fine Arts at the University of Seville. He was a professor in the Department of Drawing from 2003 until 2007, when he changed to the Department 

He took his doctorate degree at the University of Seville. He started as a professor in the Department of Drawing in 2003, and he changed to the Department of Sculpture and Plastic Art History in 2007, where he is the current director.

He has published several books related with Sculpture and Drawing, also he has written chapters and articles in national and international publications that deal with these topics. He has participated in conferences in different countries (Portugal, Mexico, UK, Italy, Burkina Faso), as well as a professional continuous activity (mostly graphic and sculptural)

Currently, he is a member of the research group "Investigación de Técnicas Escultóricas” (University of Seville) and “Técnicas y Procedimientos Escultóricos” (Universidad de La Laguna), participating in competitive research projects.

He is a co-founder of the Cooperation Group US:  “Arte y Desarrollo”.

He is related with teaching and his professional activity of the representation of fuman body; for him the artistic practice is the space of confluence between the continued teaching commitment ( and eventual research activity) and the daily need to live moments of creation, or not, in the intimacy of his studio.

 

 

CÁRCELES PASCUAL, JUAN FRANCISCO

JUAN FRANCISCO CÁRCELES PASCUAL, ·Received his doctorate degree in painting. He has been a professor since 1976.

·Teaching provided: "Licenciatura" of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Master of Art: Idea & Production, and doctorate courses since 1991.

·He has been responsible for the research group "MATERIALES Y TÉCNICAS ARTÍSTICAS" since its creation in 1989 (Materials and Artistic Techniques) ( (HUM-467).

·He has recognized 4 tranches of Investigation (Six-year period), and is the author of four books, several chapters of books, critical reviews, prologues and journal articles.  

·Since its creation, he has been part of the Panel of Outside Experts from the "ANECA" for the accreditation of the University Educational Bodies.   

·Expert Evaluator of Research Projects I+D+I for the National Agency for Assessment and Forecasting ("ANEP"), since 1990.

·Reviewer of scientific journal for "FECYT".

·He has led 11 dissertations and 20 research projects (Thesis, Ha dirigido 11 Tesis doctorales y 20 Trabajos de Investigación (Tesinas, Doctoral Research Projects, Master's thesis, etc.).

·Coordinator of the Doctoral Programme Art and Heritage.

·Since 1973 he has done 11 individual exhibitions, and since 1969 he has participated in 135 collective exhibitions (121 in Spain, and 14 abroad)

·Between1974 and1999, he obtained 12 awards in national and international contest.  

CORNEJO VEGA, FRANCISCO

FRANCISCO J. CORNEJO VEGA (Setcases, Girona, 1957) received his doctorate degree in Art History at the University of Seville (Dissertation: Painting and Theatre of the Golden Age in Sevilla: The Sacred Monarchy , 2000) Professor of Art History in the Department of Sculpture and History of Plastic Arts. 

He is part of the Doctoral Programme "Art and Heritage".
